This January Instrument Specialists Inc. is celebrating 21 years in business. Starting out in the 90′s with service and support then expanding to upgrade systems and parts, ISI worked and developed a complete line of Thermal Analyzers. Today we are strong and have a loyal customer base and we thank all our friends and customers.

We recently moved 8 miles north from our long time facility in Spring Grove, Illinois, to the new home we purchased in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The new facility offers more than twice the space of our previous building, with two levels and ample property for future expansion. We are building a first rate demonstration and testing lab, and the new building has first class meeting space and a greatly expanded production area.

The new facility will allow ISI to provide better service for you, our customer, as well as providing for future growth and expanded offerings.

Don Miller, President of Instrument Specialists, Inc., Spring Grove, IL, recently attended the Scinco International Sales meeting to provide training and introduce the newest ISI thermal analysis instrument, the iSeries STA to Scinco’s Asian and European distributors. Scinco sells ISI’s thermal analysis instruments throughout Asia and Europe under the Scinco name.

Instrument Specialists, Inc. specializes in high performance thermal analysis instruments, upgrades and parts and supplies.

Three employees from RT Instruments, ISI’s representative for the Western US region, recently visited ISI’s Spring Grove, IL facility for training. During their visit to ISI they learned about ISI’s thermal analysis instruments, including our DSC, TGA and high performance STA instruments, as well as our upgrade products for existing DuPont, TA Instruments and Perkin Elmer thermal analysis instruments.

RTI specializes in cost effective laboratory solutions for its customers. Instrument Specialists, Inc. specializes in high performance thermal analysis instruments, upgrades and parts and supplies.

ISI and Scinco have entered into a collaboration to enhance the position of both companies in the thermal analysis market. Joint development and marketing efforts for thermal analysis instruments will be expanded in three locations: USA, Korea and UK. Each location will have responsibility for a particular global region, as follows:

ISI, USA – Americas and India
Scinco, Korea – Asia and Australia
Scinco Europe, UK – Europe and Africa

The major manufacturing role will continue to be undertaken by ISI in the US with contributions to hardware manufacture and software development from Scinco and Scinco Europe. New thermal analyzer models are currently being launched with other instruments in development. The collaboration between the two organizations will provide the Thermal Analysis market with quality innovative products.
